Creditly credit report policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2020

Please review the following rules that govern the Credit Report Policy of Creditly Corporation ("Creditly," "we" or "s").

Use of credit profile for identity verification

The Services being requested are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Creditly has established procedures for obtaining proper authorization to request and receive information from a consumer reporting agency regarding any consumer using the information intake and compilation services provided on creditgenie.com ("Services"). By using the Services, providing us your personally identifiable information on creditgenie.com ("Site") and authorizing us to request your credit information from a consumer reporting agency, you agree and acknowledge that you have initiated a transaction with Creditly, given us a permissible purpose to request and receive your information from a consumer reporting agency, and that the information obtained through the Services being requested may be used to confirm your identity to avoid fraudulent transactions in your name.

Credit history - eligibility inquiry

During the information intake stage of our Services, we may conduct an eligibility inquiry (known as a "soft credit pull"). This inquiry does not affect your credit score. By clicking the "Submit" button on our Credit History page during the application process, you are providing written instructions to Creditly, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, to authorize Creditly to request and receive information from your personal credit profile and/or other information from one or more consumer reporting agencies. You are also authorizing Creditly to perform soft credit pulls from time to time in connection with the Services being requested and any loan modifications offered in connection with our Services. These periodic soft credit pulls will not affect your credit score. Upon your request, we will inform you of the name and address of any consumer reporting agency from which we obtained your consumer report. Where applicable, your spouse or domestic partner will be asked separately to authorize Creditly to request and receive their personal credit profile from one or more consumer reporting agencies. In such event, your spouse or domestic partner is also responsible for agreeing to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and this Credit Reporting Policy and may not use the Site or Services without such agreement.

Your right to free credit reports

You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to receive one free credit report from each of the three U.S. national credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) during any 12-month period. You may also be able to receive free credit reports as permitted by state law (you may contact your state or local consumer protection agency or state attorney general to learn more about your rights). Please visit each credit reporting agency's website to obtain a free credit report from Experian, Equifax or TransUnion.
